Four Turkish ports have been included in the Lloyd's List of "100 best ports in the world"

Turkish Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu announced that the ports of Mersin, Ambarla, Kocaeli and Tekirdag were among the top 100 ports according to the world's most prestigious Lloyd's List. "This success has once again demonstrated Turkey's strength in maritime trade and the competitiveness of its ports in the international arena," the minister said.

Turkey s state-owned energy company Botas has signed a new long-term contract with France s TotalEnergies for the supply of 16 cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year. Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
