Additional buses for summer in Mersin

The Mersin municipality has added additional flights on routes leading to suburban beaches and mountainous areas. Bayram Demir, head of the public transportation department, said, "Since Mersin has a very hot climate, in the summer our citizens travel from the city center to the countryside and coastal areas. The population density is decreasing in the city center and increasing in the suburbs, so we have increased the number of flights to these destinations on both weekdays and weekends. In particular, we have added flights to areas such as Gözne, Ayvagedigi, Arslanköy, Çamlıyayla, Erdemli, Tashuçu and Gülnar.
