Ataturk City Forest Park in Istanbul ranked among the top five in the world

Atatürk Park (Atatürk Kent Ormanı), which attracts attention with its modern design and natural beauties, was chosen as one of the five best parks in the world according to "World Urban Parks". Since its opening, the park has been visited by thousands of local and foreign residents.

Atatürk Forest Park was opened by the Department of Parks, Gardens and Green Zones of the Metropolitan Municipality of Istanbul (IBB) in Saryar on 10 November 2020 as part of the "Environmental Protection" programme. It is an ideal place for those who want to spend time alone with nature and take a break from the intense urban life. The forest park covers a total area of 1 million 79 thousand 480 m². At your disposal are extensive green areas, pedestrian and cycling paths, scenic water bodies and, of course, clean air.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
