Foreign pensioners will be able to import their cars to Turkey for 4 years

Foreign pensioners will be extended the period of use of a car imported into Turkey for another 2 years. Previously, the maximum possible period for a foreign car to stay in the country was 730 days. In accordance with the amendment to be made to the Presidential Decree, pensioners will be given the opportunity to extend this period for another 730 days without having to leave the country. To do this, you will need to submit an application before the end of the 2-year period of stay of the car in Turkey. The amendment will enter into force on January 1, 2024.
