According to the statement of the Minister of Environment and Urban Planning Mehmet Ozhaseki, foreigners bought 17,076 plots of land in Turkey with a total area of more than 28 million m2! The deputy from the CHP party, Emir Fatih Gyurer, asked to restore order in the issue of land acquisition by foreigners. Recall that the rule was recently abolished, according to which the purchase of land plots was suitable for the program of obtaining Turkish citizenship. Now, only those sites where there are any buildings or construction is underway are suitable for obtaining citizenship.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
