Living in Turkey, you probably have heard about KPSS. Sounds strange and arouses interest. Many already know that the KPSS has nothing to do with the communists. In Turkey, KPSS is a centralized test for candidates seeking public office. The fact is that being a "budget" in Turkey is quite prestigious. Civil servants are paid decent wages, insurance, excellent pensions. In a number of departments (MoI, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health) there are still a number of advantages: early retirement, various allowances, compensation, etc.
However, to get a public position in Turkey is not so easy. One profile education here will clearly not be enough. In most cases, you will have to pass a special KPSS exam and score a pass required for a particular position.
The KPSS exam is held every year. The entry usually begins in the spring, and the exam itself is held several stages in the summer. All those who have complete secondary education (in Turkey it is 12 classes) and above can apply. The examination for those with secondary education and those with higher education is different. The KPSS consists of two stages, each with 60 questions. Themes: Turkish language, mathematics and geometry, history, geography, government. In addition, teachers take another additional test. Of course, there are institutions that on a fee-paying basis train applicants for the exam.
