Did you know that there is a real underwater museum in Side in the Manavgat area with more than a hundred sculptures with different themes? It is Turkey's first underwater museum, established by the Chamber of Shipping branch in 2015. In terms of the number of sculptures, the museum is the second largest in the world (the first is the museum in Mexico with 400 figures).
In the Side Museum you can see statues of riders on horseback, military men with rifles, famous Turkish dervishes, a caravan of camels and many others. Of course, the largest statue is the statue of Poseidon - the ancient Greek sea god, lord of the seas and oceans!
During the time underwater, they are covered with shells, algae and look like a real lost world. Here you will definitely make original spectacular photos! Sculptures are located at a depth of 5 to 25 meters, so that both beginners and advanced divers can enjoy the beauty of the museum!
