The Mayor of Alanya, Adem Murat Yudzhel, awarded the students who read the largest number of books in the city libraries with bicycles and gift certificates. As part of the program, the mayor met with young book lovers at the Emine Hajikura Library. "We continue to open new libraries and hold events to encourage our students to read more books," he said.

Library Week, which begins annually on the last Monday of March, is celebrated with various events both in Alanya and throughout the country.
