Mayor of Alanya Osman Taryk Ozcelik spoke after the meeting of the city council

After the meeting of the City Council, the mayor of Alanya made a number of statements on the current state of affairs and plans for the future. Here are the main points of his speech:

Sanitary and hygienic inspections of enterprises will continue
Owners of bakeries, confectionery and other catering establishments were given a deadline until October 1, 2024 to eliminate all shortcomings identified during the inspections. Such inspections of enterprises will be carried out on a continuous basis.

Price fighting
Mayor Ozlechik: "I gave the order to start the checks today at the Council meeting. From tomorrow morning, there will be checks to see if all the vendors are following the rules and setting up a price list at the entrance. Offenders will be given a week to remedy the shortcomings. Further penalties will follow until the closure of the company"

Municipal debt
The mayor said he plans to close the municipality’s debt on SGK before the beginning of the new year.

Homeless animal issue
Ozlechik: "This law is designed to push citizens and municipalities together. The government transfers all powers from itself to municipalities, thus discharging its responsibility. As the mayor, I declare that I will not deprive any living creature of life. We will expand our shelters and solve the problem in appropriate ways".
