Metro Turkey for green energy

Metro has launched a project to install solar panels on the roofs of its hypermarkets and parking lots. It is planned that the project will cover 30 stores, for which 30 MW of solar electricity will be generated. The implementation of the project will prevent emissions of 18 thousand tons of carbon. By 2040, the company plans to completely switch to green energy and meet 100% of electricity needs with solar energy.

More than 30,000 Turkish bloggers have been monitored by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury

The financial Service has launched an investigation into 30 thousand bloggers who are popular on social networks. The Tax Audit Department has collected all the data and received information on the income of more than 30 thousand well-known bloggers in Turkey. Now all of them will be checked for tax concealment. The authorities say that bloggers have an obligation to pay taxes, like all other entrepreneurs, and income from advertising on social networks is also subject to taxation, like any other income.
