enMetro in Mersin!

And again, good news from Mersin! Already this year, they promise to open the first metro line with a length of 13.4 km, consisting of 11 stations. The starting point is the municipality of Mezitli.
The new metro will be equipped with smart city technology, a fully automated control system, the latest escalators and elevators.
Upon completion of two more branches, the total length of the Mersin metro will be 34.4 km. It is planned to fully complete the construction of the metro by 2026.

Turkey s state-owned energy company Botas has signed a new long-term contract with France s TotalEnergies for the supply of 16 cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year. Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
