Turkey's Economy Minister and the head of the Central Bank of Turkey held a meeting with the largest foreign investors

Amid increased interest in Turkey's stock market, Economy Minister Mehmet Şimşek and Central Bank Governor Hafize Gaye Erkan held a conference with 50 of the largest foreign investors. The conference was organized by Burak Kaynak, who is in charge of cooperation with the Republic of Turkey at JP Morgan Bank. At the meeting, Ms. Erkan spoke on "Monetary Policy and Macroeconomic Outlook" and Mehmet Şimşek spoke on "Economic Outlook".

In a special statement to Bloomberg HT Kaynak said that organizing the first meeting of the economic department's management with foreign investors is a great opportunity to establish direct contact for fruitful work in the future. Foreign investors were interested to know the reasons behind the economic decisions made firsthand.

Turkey's economic growth in the second quarter of 2024
