September 14, 2023

Speaking at the "Texhibition Istanbul" fabric and textile fair held at the Istanbul Exhibition Center, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat said:
"Friends, we are now exporting goods worth one billion dollars a day. Sometimes a little lower, sometimes a little higher, but we have become a country that exports goods worth an average of 20 to 23 billion dollars a month!

Turkey is now a country known in the world export league. We have many brands, we produce quality branded and provide fast delivery. We can deliver goods in 3 days even to the remotest corners of the world. We have one of the best air and sea transportation system in the world. These are our advantages and strengths. In July and August we achieved the highest export figures in the history of our republic and we plan to finish the year with economic growth of 4.5 - 5%. I would also like to end my speech with good news: yesterday we increased the capital of Eximbank by 40%, which will bring an additional 70 billion liras of financial support for our exporters."
