During the meeting, the ministers touched upon the following topics:
Sergey Lavrov:
UN Secretary General António Guterres' initiative to restore the grain deal does not contain any
guarantees for Moscow
Moscow will resume the deal as soon as all the clauses of the agreement between Russia and the UN are fulfilled
Russia is ready to increase gas supplies to Turkey, we also discussed with the Turkish minister the supply of one million tons of grain to Turkey at a preferential price
Hakan Fidan:
Ankara will continue to play a mediating role between Moscow and Kiev
Ankara has prepared a number of proposals to restore the grain deal
Russian and Turkish presidents to discuss grain initiative in detail at Sochi meeting

Turkey s state-owned energy company Botas has signed a new long-term contract with France s TotalEnergies for the supply of 16 cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year. Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
