Alanya Municipality has started preparations for the winter period

September 27, 2023

The Public Works Directorate of Alanya Municipality has started the planned preparation for the winter period, which includes cleaning of storm water channels, gutters and manholes in the streets of the city. The crews have already completed the cleaning of the southern part of the D-400 highway between the Tosmur interchange and the industrial site and have started work in the Gullerpınari neighborhood and the Friday Bazaar area.

Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yucel said that garbage thrown into gutters and storm water wells causes congestion in winter, noting, "I want our citizens to be attentive to this issue. Trash thrown into creeks and gutters can lead to big problems. Manholes and manholes continue to be cleaned throughout the county in preparation for winter. We are committed to making sure our residents have a trouble-free winter."
