enA Mediterranean seal came to the beach in Mersin

In Mersin, on the beach of Limonlu in Erdemli district vacationers noticed a seal. The seal, which was about two meters long, swam for quite a long time near the shore, and then swam out to sea. Mersin fishermen reported that they had seen this seal before and fed it with fish. So there is a good chance to see this unique animal again.
The Mediterranean seal is threatened with extinction; there are no more than 1000 seals left in the world.

Turkey s state-owned energy company Botas has signed a new long-term contract with France s TotalEnergies for the supply of 16 cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year. Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
