Entry for the Gastro Alanya International Culinary Competition has started

Alanya will host for the 8th time a cooking competition organized in cooperation with Alanya Municipality, Golden Ladle Tourism and Chefs Association. The competition will be held on February 5-6-7, 2024. Entries for the competition will be accepted until December 31, 2023. During 3 days the contestants will demonstrate all their skills to get to the finals.

The peculiarity of the competition is that this year everyone can take part in the competition. Participants who wish to take part in the competition in the category "Food from Alanya" can apply to the Alanya Municipality Environmental Protection and Control Department by calling +90242 510 20 50.  For entries in the professional categories, they can contact the Tourism and Chefs Association at +90 532 310 45 68."

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
