The Minister of Treasury and Finance Noureddin Nebati said that in July 2023, the grace period will end, according to which landlords could raise rents by no more than 25%.
Thus, in the future, tenants and landlords will agree on the amount of rent without the participation of the state. "This measure was introduced for 1 year after a sharp jump in housing prices due to inflation and the coronavirus pandemic, and this period expires in July," the minister added.

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public.
