The municipality of Alanya has held a draw, as a result of which the seats for 410 traders in the new Friday market have been determined. The Mayor of Alanya Adem Murat Yujel has informed that next Monday will be held a draw for companies and producers who will be able to present their products in the new market. After a large-scale reconstruction, the new Friday market will include a covered market square, covered parking lot, a movie theater and even a library.

Turkey s state-owned energy company Botas has signed a new long-term contract with France s TotalEnergies for the supply of 16 cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year. Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
