enThe official date for the opening of Cukurova Airport in Mersin has been announced

Tarsus County Governor, Kadir Sertel Otju, told the media that Cukurova Airport will be put into operation on October 29, 2023, the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey.
It should be reminded that the first test flight at Cukurova Airport was made on May 4, 2023 and was successful. Turkey's second largest airport (85 thousand m2) will serve passengers in accordance with all international standards.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
