Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu, speaking at the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly, spoke about the project of a bullet train that will take you from Ankara to Istanbul in 80 minutes. Uraloglu said that the project is planned to be implemented by 2033-2035.
The Minister also listed the high-speed train lines implemented within the framework of the "National High-speed Train Complex Project", namely: "Ankara - Izmir high-speed train line, Mersin - Adana - Osmaniye - Gaziantep high-speed train line, Bandyrma - Bursa - Yenisehir - Osmaneli high-speed train line, Ispartakule - Cherkezkey high-speed train line, high-speed train line Yerkey - Kayseri trains, the Eskisehir- Antalya high-speed train line and the railway project on the Black Sea coast."
