Yenişihir Municipality continues to work on creating comfortable conditions for stray animals in the urban environment. On the territory of the Mersin University campus, a spacious room is being built on a 7500 m2 plot of land for them, where they will be fed and given the necessary medical care.
In addition, Yenisehir Mayor Abdullah Ozyigit said that the municipality's employees visit parks and animal houses located in the city on a daily basis to replenish food and water. He also asked citizens to assist and if possible also help stray animals during these hot days.
