Representatives of different business sectors in Alanya discussed innovations in obtaining residence permits and short-term rentals

October 25, 2023

Businessmen and representatives of public organizations organized a meeting to evaluate the latest developments in Alanya's economy, particularly residence permits and short-term rentals. President of TÜRSAB BYK Tourism Association Kerim Sarıkaya, President of Chamber of Traders and Artisans Nuri Demir and other representatives of different fields of the city attended the meeting.

The participants of the meeting emphasized that the innovations will affect not only the construction and real estate sectors, but all sectors, from grocers to market traders, from cab drivers to furniture makers and electricians. We expressed our common opinion that the crisis in the construction sector will have a negative impact on all citizens living in Alanya. We decided to act together on these issues and, if necessary, lobby our interests and demands to higher authorities. We passed the main points of the meeting to our representatives in Ankara.
