The Court of Cassation has signed a precedent-setting decision that concerns millions of Turkish citizens. In Adana, the judge accepted the WhatsApp correspondence as evidence in a commercial case, although the plaintiff did not have a signed document. WhatsApp users will now have to pay more attention to their correspondence. "After the decision of the Court of Cassation, local courts must now accept WhatsApp correspondence as indisputable evidence," lawyer Alperen Kadyoglu commented on the news.
