Sales of electric vehicles in Turkey increased significantly in the first 2 months of 2023.

Over the past January and February, Turkish residents purchased 2,263 electric vehicles - more than in the entire second half of 2022. Further increase in demand for such cars is expected due to the launch of production of the Turkish brand of electric cars Togg.

In total, according to statistics, 65500 cars have been sold since the beginning of 2023. Gasoline-powered cars were sold the most, with diesel and hybrid cars in second and third places. The least bought cars with a gas engine.
