Tender for the Antalya-Alanya highway project has been finalized

The tender for the Antalya-Alanya highway project, the construction of which will be supervised by the General Directorate of Roads (KGM) of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure (UDH), has been finalized. The tender, worth 76.7 billion liras, went to Limak Construction. Limak Construction Group is the 181st largest construction company in the world according to Engineering News Record's ranking. According to the same magazine's 2022 ranking, it is the 67th largest construction company in the world.

Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoglu shared details of the project, "The road will start from an interchange in the Serik area, then go east and run along the Taurus Mountains and end at an interchange north of Konakli." 

Making a statement on the occasion, Mehmet Sharani Tavli, chairman of the district branch of the ruling AK Party, said: "The 122-km highway will include seven intersections, eight tunnels and 19 viaducts. With the project, we aim to reduce economic losses in the fields of tourism, agriculture and industry."
