Record for eating barbecue in Antalya.

January 24, 2023
In an Antalya restaurant where a kebab eating contest was held, Australian James Webb ate 550 kebabs, 2 pita bread, salad and drank 1.5 liters of Coca-Cola in 18 minutes. His rival, Seren Yilmaz Ay, was able to eat "only" 315 kebabs in 46 minutes. The cooks struggled to prepare and bring new portions of kebabs to James.
"I didn't imagine that you could eat so much meat in such a short time. I've never seen a grill not keep up with a person," commented the owner of the restaurant, Ilyas Demir.
The winner stated that with the proceeds he would buy sweets to treat all the participants with them. Apparently, the barbecue was not enough for him.
