August 26, 2024

The municipality of Alanya has increased the cost of paid parking in the city. The increase was 400 per cent for cars and 566 per cent for minibuses, vans and pickups. This increase is expected to reduce traffic density on the side of roads. Osman Taryk Ozchelik, the mayor of the city, said that such a step had to be taken in order to pay off municipal debts.

With the increase in the hourly rate, cars are now paid 50 liras per hour and vans, vans and pick-ups 100 liras per hour. Maximum parking time is 8 hours.
