Record exports of goods to Russia

As a result of the past summer, Turkey set a record for the export of goods to Russia in August.
“In August, Turkey set an absolute record for exports to Russia. The volume of exports for one month amounted to $738,527,000. This is 87.2% more compared to the same month last year,” the Assembly of Exporters of the country noted.
According to the Turkish Institute of Statistics, the figures for exports of goods to Russia compared to the previous year are as follows:
-in June 2022, exports increased by 46% and amounted to $719.4 million,
-In May, the figure was $519 million
Deliveries of fruit, as well as machinery, equipment and components have increased markedly.
Also, over the past six months of 2022, Turkey increased the import of Russian oil by 104%.
Turkey's consumption of Russian oil by such companies as URALS and SIBERIAN LIGHT has significantly increased.
