"Russians did it" or new adventures of Russians in Alanya

October 27, 2023

The situation with the Turkish flag, which prevented the Russian-speaking residents of Obe, has not subsided, but a new story involving our compatriots is on its way. According to Şerife Bulut, the owner of a hairdressing salon in Alanya, a Russian woman, to whom Bulut rendered hairdressing services worth 28,000 liras, cheated her and left without paying the money.

Sherife Bulut, who has been working as a hairdresser in Alanya for 17 years, said a Russian woman came into her salon last Sunday and asked her to do her hair. According to Bulut, she decided to help the woman after she cried and said her hair was in a very bad condition. Bulut said she had to pay cash for the hair material, but the woman said she would transfer the money to her account through online banking. The next day, Monday, Bulut called the bank to see if the money had been credited to her account and found out that it had not been credited, after which she called the police to find the Russian fraudster.
