The real estate market is starting to revive: sales statistics for February

According to the Turkish Institute of Statistics, 93,902 properties were sold in February, which is 17.3% more than in February 2023. 65,308 objects accounted for the sale of secondary housing, 28,594 - under construction.

Sales Leaders by Province:

Istanbul - 17.4% - 16.344 objects
Ankara - 8.8% - 8,300 objects
Izmir - 5.5% - 5,168 objects

Despite the overall growth of the market, home sales to foreigners again show a decline of 44.9% compared to February last year. In total, foreigners purchased 1,846 properties:

Istanbul - 691 objects
Antalya - 659 sites
Mersin - 151 objects

Among foreigners, the maximum number of real estate was purchased by citizens of the Russian Federation - 395 objects, citizens of Iran - 200 objects, citizens of Iraq - 112 objects, citizens of Ukraine - 105 objects, citizens of Germany - 91 objects and citizens of Kazakhstan - 79 objects.
