From May 1, the rules for visa-free stay in Thailand will change for Russian citizens

The pilot project, according to which Russian citizens could stay in Thailand without a visa, ends on April 30, 2024. From May 1, Russian tourists will be able to enter the kingdom without a visa for 30 days. For another 30 days without visas, you can extend it by contacting the migration service and paying 1,900 baht.


Since the beginning of 2024, Russians have taken the 3rd place in terms of the number of visits to Thailand. The Kingdom has already been visited by 347 thousand citizens of the Russian Federation.
