From 2025, Turkish civil servants will live on one salary

The new law, designed to increase austerity in the public sector, was published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Erdoğan. Under the new law, civil servants will be able to receive a salary for only one of their duties, and this salary will not exceed the maximum salary of the civil servant.

Thus, heads of public institutions and organizations, whether they come from the private or public sector, They can only be paid for one of their duties. The total net amount payable in a month will not exceed the maximum lump-sum salary, which is currently 98,000 lire. The regulation will enter into force on 1 January 2025.
