The largest number of foreigners live in Istanbul with 568 thousand people, followed by Antalya with 130.994 people, Ankara with 71.832 people, Bursa with 51.566 people, Mersin with 41.190 people, Izmir with 24.247 people and Mugla with 22.586 people.
Of the total number of foreigners with residence permits, the largest number of Russians live in Turkey - 107.392 people. They are followed by Turkmenistan -103,861 people, Iraq - 94,370 people, Syria - 82,489 people, Iran - 79,181 people, Azerbaijan - 63,803 people, Uzbekistan - 51,941 people, Afghanistan - 43,591 people, Kazakhstan - 42,911 people, Ukraine - 38,443 people and 419,056 citizens of other countries.
