According to a news story on Haberport.com, homeowners will be able to get a refund on property taxes they've paid in the last five years. In order to take advantage of the property tax refund, an application must be filed with the municipality.
Important: The dwelling must be the only one owned by the applicant and its meterage must not exceed 200 m2.
In addition, housewives, spouses and orphans of the deceased, veterans and unemployed citizens may be eligible for property tax exemption.
