Statistics for August on real estate sales in Turkey

According to the Institute of Statistics of Turkey in August this year in the country was sold 13% more real estate than in July, namely - 312.3 thousand objects:

119.5 thousand - residential properties

101,1 thousand - agricultural land plots

55,6 thousand - land plots for construction

11,7 thousand - office premises

24,4 thousand - other real estate objects (warehouses, commercial premises, etc.)

According to the largest number of sold objects in different cities of Turkey, the places were distributed as follows:

Istanbul - 30 thousand 

Ankara - 18.6 thousand

Izmir - 13 thousand

Antalya - 9,5 thousand

Mersin - 6.9 thousand

The General Cadastral Administration of Turkey reported that the country's treasury received 5.1 billion liras from sales transactions.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public.
