The cost of entry to the beaches of Istanbul in 2024

In Istanbul this year, the cost of entering the beaches owned by the mayor of İBB and BELTUR, is 60 lire, 30 lire for students and free - for persons over 60 years, disabled and accompanying persons, veterans and war heroes. The entrance is through the turnstiles on the map İstanbulkart.

But the cost of entering the beaches in popular tourist locations will be much more expensive:

Sarıyer: 250 - 750 lire
Şile: 200 - 800 lire
Florya: 500 lire 
Sedef Adası: 1000 lire
Büyükada: weekdays of 500 - 600 lire, weekends of 800 lire.  

Admission is free of charge:

Menekşe plajı, Selimpaşa plajı, Güzelce plajı, Silivri plajni

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
