Thailand plans to build the world's tallest skyscraper

Thai Prime Minister Settha Thawisin announced plans to build the world's tallest skyscraper in Bangkok. It is reported that Middle Eastern and Chinese developers Broad Group and Vatone Group, as well as Emaar Group, which built Burj Khalifa, the tallest skyscraper in the world today (828 m), will participate in the project.

The high-rise will be represented by a complex consisting of a hotel, as well as financial, entertainment and shopping centers. The height of the building has not yet been named,

Settha Thawisin added that the tower project will help attract more visitors to Thailand, whose tourism industry accounts for 12% of the country's GDP. In 2024, the country plans to receive 35-40 million tourists, reaching the figures of 2019.
