Turkish airline "Corendon airlines" as an experiment on a 10-hour flight Amsterdam-Curacao introduced the possibility to buy seats in the zone without children. The service will cost between $50 and $100. "This area on the plane is designed for passengers traveling without children and for business travelers who want to work in a quiet environment," the airline said in a release. Starting from November, passengers from 16 years old and older can buy a ticket to this zone. If the service proves to be in demand among passengers, the airline plans to expand the geography of flights with a child-free zone.
By the way, the Turkish newspaper Hürriyet recently conducted a survey among the local population. The respondents were asked the following question: "Do you think it is necessary to increase the number of public establishments (hotels, restaurants, cafes, etc.) with child-free zones?". Contrary to the popular belief that absolutely all Turks adore children and always welcome them, many respondents were in favor of increasing the number of such establishments. Moreover, even moms with children took part in the survey, and they also answered positively to the question. And who but moms to know that even the sweetest kids sometimes need a break:) Do you agree?
