Turkish electric car TOGG enters the European market

May 28, 2024

Several European publications immediately drew attention to the Turkish-made TOGG electric car.
The French news agency AFP published an article about the success of the T10X model produced by the Turkish Automobile Initiative Group (TOGG). Auto Bild, the leading German automotive magazine, analyzed the T10X model from TOGG and gave it a high rating.

Auto Bild compared the Togg T10X model with many foreign cars, noting that the 4.59 m long Togg trunk with a volume of up to 1.515 liters is suitable for travel, and the seats are very comfortable. In the analysis of price characteristics, it was noted that the car is offered at a more affordable price than other cars in this segment. The magazine noted that TOGG has overtaken Tesla in sales in Turkey. The article also compares the production capacities of Togg and Tesla: Togg produced 20,000 cars in 2023, surpassing Tesla, which produced 2,000 cars in the first year.

"Turkey will become one of the most important bases for the production of batteries in the world in the near future. In the coming period, it will be very important to develop Togg's capabilities in the field of autonomous driving and artificial intelligence. We are witnessing the birth of a brand that will be a pioneer in the transformation of the entire industry. Togg will appear in Germany in early 2025 and enter the European market," Mehmet Fatih Kachir, Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkey, commented on the news.
