Turkish Airlines for the ninth time named "The best airline in Europe" by the Skytrax Awards

Turkish Airlines was named "Europe’s Best Airline" by Skytrax at the World Airline Awards 2024, also known as "Oscar" of the aviation industry.

On 24 June, at the World Airline Awards held at Fairmont Windsor Park in London, a successful flagship carrier was awarded numerous awards. In addition to being the best airline in Europe, Turkish Airlines also received the awards "The world’s best business class catering service" and "The best airline in southern Europe".

Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekshi: "We are very happy to receive these prestigious awards from Skytrax. The fact that we were chosen the best airline in Europe and the best airline in Southern Europe, as well as the fact that we were recognized for the excellent first-class service, is a testimony to the hard work and dedication of our team. Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public.
