enTurkey plans to increase gold production to 100 tons per year

Ali Emiroglu, president of Turkey's Mining Industry Association (TMD), announced ambitious goals for gold production and increased exports. "Our country has the potential to increase gold production to 100 tons per year and increase exports to $15 billion," he said.
Turkey is now one of the countries with the largest gold reserves. " In 2023, gold imports increased by 75%," Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat said.

Turkey s state-owned energy company Botas has signed a new long-term contract with France s TotalEnergies for the supply of 16 cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year. Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public.
