According to the Ministry of Energy, Turkey ranks second among European countries for low-cost residential electricity. A stable and reliable energy system allows Turkish citizens and businesses to enjoy electricity at affordable prices.
In addition, Turkey ranks third on the list of countries with the lowest natural gas bills. Affordable electricity and natural gas play an important role in improving the quality of life and providing a comfortable environment for the population. The Turkish government continues to work on developing the renewable energy sector, introducing new technologies and measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Turkey's economic growth in the second quarter of 2024
Turkey's Federal Statistical Office reported that the country's economy grew by 2.5% in the second quarter of 2024. Significant growth was recorded in the services sector (7.4%) and construction (6.5%).
