Turkey took 8th place in the list of the most powerful armies in the world

The American website Global Fire Power has published a list of the "Most powerful armies of 2024." It was stated that the list of 145 countries was compiled as a result of taking into account a number of factors, such as the mobility of the armed forces, the length of their stay on the battlefield, equipment, financial situation and geography.

Turkey, which has changed its military strategy, giving preference to the domestic defense industry in connection with the ongoing fight against terrorist organizations in the Middle East, this year rose three positions in the list from 11th to 8th place.
