Winter is the time when Turks come to thermal hotels with their whole families to improve their health and recharge their batteries for the whole year. There are many healing thermal regions in Turkey. You can read about the main resorts here: https://t.me/alanyabrand/4991. However, Istanbul residents tend to visit Yalova because of its proximity to Istanbul (85 km), excellent service, variety of thermal waters and richness of nature.

Yalova's sources include the popular Yalova Termal Kaplıcaları. The entrance fee is 25 TL. There is a camping site. Yalova Termal Kaplıcaları springs are divided into 4 types, depending on their therapeutic effect:

1) Waters indicated for gastrointestinal diseases
They contribute to the normalization of the gastrointestinal tract, gallbladder, and urinary system.

2) Sources useful for eye diseases
The water in them is quite hot. It is believed that it is useful for various eye diseases.

3) Sources useful for joint problems
Such water is useful for rheumatism, as well as for rehabilitation after injuries and fractures.

4) Steam from asthma
The ionic structure of steam released from such hot springs is considered useful for reducing shortness of breath and improving blood circulation. It is used in the complex treatment of asthma, snoring and other respiratory diseases.
