"Associations for the protection of the rights and assistance of men" will be established in Alanya

June 12, 2024

Attorney Ahmet Kadir Alparslan has teamed up with 6 businessmen and decided to create the "Alanya Men Protection and Assistance Association". Stating that they would protect the rights of male victims, Alparslan said: "I have been practicing law in Alanya since 2017. Within 1-2 weeks we will draw up the founding documents, submit them to the district administration and start the work of our association, which aims to protect the rights of men".

"We will carry out actions to protect the rights of male victims, for example, from exorbitant alimony/fines. There are also men who, like women, can be financially vulnerable. For example, a man working for a minimum wage and receiving a restraining order is forced to spend the night in the streets, gardens and parks. Because a man working for a minimum wage can’t stay in a hotel or hostel. With such complaints we will work," said Ahmet Kadir Alparslan.
