enConstruction of an avocado packing factory has started in Alanya

Hilmi Sevilgen, President of Alanya Avocado Growers Association, announced the start of construction of an avocado packing facility in Ugrak district near Gazipasa. The construction of the facility is expected to last 3 months and it is expected to be operational as early as November this year.
"The new facility will make a great contribution to the development of the region as a properly packaged product will allow growers to sell more avocados for export," Hilmi Sevilgen said.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
