September 5, 2023

Avocados and mangoes will be the theme of the festival, which will be organized by Alanya Municipality for the second time this year. The aim of the festival is to develop agriculture in the region and attract attention to the gastronomic component of tourism. Famous artists will take part in the festival and various tastings, seminars and competitions will be organized. Famous chefs will prepare tropical fruit dishes and share their recipes on the Gastro Kitchen stage.

The festival will bring together all representatives of the industry, from those who grow avocados and mangoes to those who process and use the fruit in gastronomy, souvenirs and cosmetics. Guests will be able not only to taste delicious fruits, but also to purchase avocado and mango-based cosmetics. There will be contests among the producers in the categories "The most beautiful tropical orchard", "The heaviest mango" and "The heaviest avocado"

"We are organizing the Tropical Fruit Festival for the second time with a new concept combining agriculture and gastronomy. With this we want to draw attention to the local products of Alanya, expand their uses and support our producers. I invite all residents and visitors to our festival, which will be held on October 6-7-8, 2023," said Mayor Adem Murat Yucel.
