The opening of tracks for off-road vehicles, motocross and drift took place in Alanya

March 5, 2024

Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yudzhel took part in the opening of temporary zones where young people can play sports and use their energy in a positive way. The ceremony was also attended by Chairman of the AK Party Mehmet Sharani Tavli, chairman of the MHP district of Alanya Mustafa Syunbul and about 5,000 spectators. The mayor solemnly cut the ribbon, and then got behind the wheel of a car, drove off-road and started drifting to the applause of young people.

"We put young people at the center of every project we implement. The demand of our youth is to make the drift zone permanent. For now, this place is temporary, but soon we will make the drift zone permanent in a new location. Our only request to the youth is to spend their energy here, and not to risk their own and other people's lives on the roads of the city. We are trying to create healthy and safe zones for you!" the mayor said.
