In Mersin, two sea turtles were released into the sea after successful rehabilitation

Two sea turtles were seen injured on a beach in Erdemli about 3 months ago. Volunteers took them to the sea turtle rescue and rehabilitation center. The staff of the center reported that the age of these sea beauties is about 65 years old. After undergoing treatment, the turtles were released into the sea. 

"There is a sea turtle rescue and rehabilitation center in our city. Turtles that have been injured and damaged for various reasons are brought here. After treatment, they are returned to the sea. So far, 47 turtles have been treated and released into the sea," said Mersin Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan.
